Scientists are only now starting to understand the molecular basis for their findings. Progress in molecular genetics raises hope of increasing our understanding. Molecular biology is a branch of biology that seeks to understand the molecular structures and chemical processes that are the basis of biological activity within and between cells. It is centered largely on the study of nucleic acids (such as DNA and RNA) and proteins. Molecular chemistry deals with the laws governing the interaction between molecules that results in the formation and breakage of chemical bonds, while molecular physics deals with the laws governing their structure and properties. International Journal of Molecular Sciences is an international, peer-reviewed, open access journal providing an advanced forum for biochemistry, molecular and cell biology, molecular biophysics, molecular medicine, and all aspects of molecular research in chemistry, and published semimonthly online by MDPI. Bose-Einstein condensate polar molecules: physicists at Hong Kong's CUHK created a molecular BEC of sodium-rubidium (NaRb) using dual microwave shielding and demonstrated a tunable interaction dial ... Under standard conditions, hydrogen is a gas of diatomic molecules with the formula H2, called dihydrogen, or sometimes hydrogen gas, molecular hydrogen, or simply hydrogen. Dihydrogen is colorless, odorless, non-toxic, and highly combustible. Molecular hydrogen (H2) is the simplest and lightest molecule in existence: two hydrogen atoms joined by a single bond, with a molecular weight of just 2.016 grams per mole.
